DESIGNER PROFILE
Ian Stuart has always had a passion for fashion, art, music and theatre. this passion was the driving force which determined his future as a bridal gown designer.
During his fashion education in london, Ian specialised in bridal & evening wear design, for which he won numerous student awards in this field. upon graduating, Ian began his training at Bellville Sassoon, one of London's finest couture houses who specialize in creating gowns for socialites and members of the Royal family. This training was invaluable to Ian and gave him the knowledge of cut, proportion, balance and wear ability within design.
Ian then went on to create bi-annual collections for leading bridal and evening wear manufacturers in London, before moving to New York to further his career, where he created bridal wear labels which were sold throughout the world.
With more than a decade of knowledge and experience behind him, the cutting edge designer decided that it was time to launch his own bridal wear brand. based in London, The Collection Designed by Ian Stuart LTD was an instant success and attracted worldwide publicity.

BELLE ÉPOQUE COLLECTION
This stunning advertising campaign takes inspiration from photographers such as Cecil Beaton who transferd his childhood love of Edwardian England to the world of Paris in the belle époque, capturing the opulence and decadence of a time in fashion history.
‘’Playing with inspiration from eras in history has allowed me to create new silhouettes, based upon that time, but with a new and modern interpretation. I love floating between the years and creating dresses that take their inspiration from times gone by’’.

CATWALK COLLECTION
Advertising plays a key part in the depiction of our wedding dresses and helps to convey style and mood through visual imagery. The Catwalk Collection is a leap forward in this area and demonstrates the development and progression in promotion of Ian Stuart gowns.
Our cutting-edge approach highlights the essential style and glamour of our collection. Dramatic stills are projected out from a backdrop of a catwalk runway, striking images which depict the essence of bridal couture.
Combined with these pictures we have also created an exclusive video to capture the dresses in their full splendour as they move and shimmer down the catwalk. Elegance, grace and style are all captured by Moreland Productions in this unique and original approach to advertising.

The Collection Designed by Ian Stuart LTD is based in W. Dulwich, London. We are proud to be a completely private and independent company whose directors and founders are Ian Stuart and Peter Tague.
After more than a decade of design experience and technical knowledge Ian Stuart and his team were inspired by a new vision, where cutting edge bridal design and personal service meet. The company was launched in 2003, this young creative team are on the pulse of the industry and strive for the highest standard of design, workmanship, quality and customer service.
The Collection Designed by Ian Stuart is sold exclusively to some of the finest bridal salons who have unparalleled reputations for service and ambience. Ian Stuart makes frequent designer appearances at bridal salons throughout the country, where brides can discuss their ideas with him in person. The couture styling of this collection is enhanced by style changes made available, making the bride feel as though the gown was created just for her.

IAN STUART- CLIENT SERVICES
Ian Stuart offers a wide range of custom changes which are available through your bridal salon . We appreciate that religion, weather and venue can sometimes restrict the choice of gown. In an effort to be as accommodating as possible, personal custom changes including made to measure are available and priced accordingly.
